Pools and cottages are all open here in the northeast.  Though summer is not official until later in June it is here in our hearts....... Summer presents a particular challenge for the self employed,  it is time to play and the boss won’t mind!  But what about June 30  -  Mid-year reports, evaluations and 2nd half planning!!  In January, did you plan for a super summer vacation?  I hope so!  If you did not you will have to be creative.  Your business depends upon getting the work done and your life depends upon taking time away from work.  This is the balance challenge.  Make a list of what you have to get done by the end of June to feel good about the 1st half, then put a three day weekend (or better) into June and now put everything on your list on the calendar.   Don’t put anything work related in that off time!!  There you go - commit  to the plan - Get the work done and have a great summer.
